Cheree doesn't know how she died. Nor does she know why she doesn't know. By "traveling" to dozens of different locations and chatting with her about any topic that comes to mind, Cheree will gradually remember details, and the two of you will discover clues that lead to the answers she has been seeking for over 100 years.

Solve a mystery involving the Whitechapel (Jack the Ripper) murders. Includes elements of horror,  BxG romance, and puzzle-solving.

The game's interface is a chatbot-like parser that understands natural English.  Not as well as a human, but probably as well as any game with set narrative that yet exists. Run the game for more info.

I don't want to spoil what happens, but I wanted to note I finished it, then found shortcuts to finish it quicker the second time. It gave me a lot to think about and was well worth the time I put into it. I feel sort of bad dropping the ball on not testing it, but it was more than robust enough!

I seem to have lost my game in progress. I played a lot, clicked quit. I was wary to click a button that said QUIT and not QUIT&SAVE or something, but after doing it, I saw a Resume option had appeared on the screen, so I felt okay. Two days later, I've come back to the same browser, and while the itch page that would normally say RUN GAME now says RESUME GAME, clicking that RESUME GAME button places me at the screen where I can enter my name to begin a new game, with no resume option. Is there any way I can force the resume?

Oh, sorry that happened. Fortunately, your game is saved on the server and should not truly be lost. We can recover it. Do you remember the name you first chose?
